moreStuyvesant (SYC) is a private, member-owned yacht club and is located on City Island, the gate way to Long Island Sound—convenient for residents of New York City, Westchester County, northern New Jersey, and lower Connecticut. We are in our 120th year of service to the sailing community.
A partial listing of the many services/amenities that SYC offers:
* Friendly Launch Service
* Mooring Field (all boats are on moorings)
* Dry-Sailing Hoist
* Sailing Program (Adult Sailing Instruction)
* Winter Storage
* Local Racing throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall
* Numerous Cruising and Social Activities
* Wonderful Sunsets
* A Casual Environment
* Reasonable Dues.
In addition, our fine restaurant and bar offers a magnificent, panoramic view of the New York City skyline and is open for lunch, dinner and drinks.
Our club membership is offered to those with an interest and a love of boating and associated activities. However, you do not need to own a boat to join.
